The UKCCC at PROMOTE 2024
Between Feb 17 to 25th, the UK Cameroon Chamber of Commerce exhibited at the 2024 annual national trade fair and exhibition event. The UK pavilion at the exhibition grounds hosted all the UK companies and also featured the British High Commission stand, British Council and Education Partners and visiting companies from the UK.
DMA (Development Markets Invest) led the UK Trade and investment delegation to Yaoundé on the occasion. DMA is one of the UK leading trade and investment promotion bodies for economies outside the G20. It focuses on trade and investment in frontier and non-traditional markets.
The UK High Commissioner to Cameroon, His Excellency, Barry Lowen officially opened the pavilion on Monday 19 February 2024, together with the business delegation from the UK. There was a courtesy call to the Cameroon Prime Minister, sectoral ministerial meetings and bilateral engagements across Yaoundé́, the capital city. There was a mini green economy show and also a UK Education Forum summit at the Yaoundé Palais des Congres.
The UKCCC had an impressive stand. Our goal was to showcase UKCCC to the business community with the ultimate goal of recruiting more members.
