PROMOTE 2026: UK Pavilion Strengthens UK–Cameroon Business Partnerships

The UK–Cameroon Chamber of Commerce (UKCCC) proudly played a leading role in the success of the UK Pavilion at PROMOTE 2026, reinforcing its commitment to advancing trade, investment and business collaboration between the United Kingdom and Cameroon.
Held from 15–21 June 2026 at the PROMOTE Village in Yaoundé, the UK Pavilion—an initiative of the British High Commission—brought together UK companies, institutions and business associations to showcase British expertise and create new opportunities for collaboration. Throughout the week, the Pavilion welcomed thousands of visitors and hosted a series of high-level forums, investment roundtables, networking events and business discussions covering key sectors including trade, mining, fintech, education, climate, technology and entrepreneurship.
A major highlight was the UKCCC’s “Doing Business” Roundtable, which brought together business leaders, investors and policymakers to explore practical ways of improving the business environment and expanding UK–Cameroon commercial partnerships. The event reflected the Chamber’s growing role as a trusted platform for connecting businesses, facilitating dialogue and supporting sustainable economic growth.
Another landmark achievement during PROMOTE 2026 was the official launch of the UK–Cameroon Business Guide, a joint publication of the British High Commission Yaoundé, the UK Department for Business and Trade (DBT) and the UK–Cameroon Chamber of Commerce. Designed as a comprehensive one-stop resource, the Guide provides practical information for businesses seeking to trade, invest and build commercial partnerships between the United Kingdom and Cameroon. It is expected to become an essential reference for companies looking to explore opportunities in both markets.
PROMOTE 2026 demonstrated the strength of the UK–Cameroon partnership and created valuable opportunities for new business relationships, strategic collaborations and future investment. The UKCCC extends its appreciation to the British High Commission, participating organisations, partners and visitors whose contributions made the UK Pavilion an outstanding success.
